What are microfoil balloons made of??

Microfoil balloons are made of nylon sheet. They are metallised on one side and coated on the other with polyethylene.

What is helium??

Helium is a non toxic, non flammable gas that that is safe for the environment.

Why do helium balloons float??

Helium balloons float because helium is lighter than nitrogen and oxygen, the two components of air.

Why does balloongram only use helium, and not an air/helium mix??

Balloongram only uses helium to maximise the floating time and the quality of the balloon. Your balloon is guaranteed to float longer when inflated with 100% helium.

How long do microfoil helium-filled balloons float for??

Microfoil balloons will float for at least 3-5 days. Actual flying times vary depending on temperature and atmospheric conditions.

Are Qualatex balloons biodegradable??

Qualatex latex balloons (used for the topiary bases) are made from 100% biodegradable natural latex – not plastic. Latex balloons come from rubber trees and are earth friendly. Unfortunately microfoil balloons are not. Please consider the environment and dispose of foil balloons and ribbon into a rubbish bin.

What does flat rate shipping mean??

It means no matter what you buy, no matter how much you buy, you will pay one low price.

Am i able to request a specific delivery time??

You are able to request a specific delivery time, but we cannot guarantee this, as we use an external courier company. If requested we can provide you with an approximate time of delivery.

What happens when there is no one at the delivery address??

Please ensure that someone will be at the specified delivery address to receive your Balloongram. If this will not be possible please indicate as to where you wish for us to leave your package. Balloongram will not be responsible for item lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place. 

Can i cancel my order if i have changed my mind??

Due to the fact that balloongrams are a cusomised gift, orders cannot be cancelled once payment has been received. Orders can only be cancelled before the actual payment has been made.

When am i entitled to a refund??

You are entitled to a refund if the balloongram purchased by you, does not match the description or sample you ordered, or if your personal message is printed incorrectly.

Are my personal details kept private??
